N6127 Name: Jia Li and John Walker - BRI1-5, BRS1-1D Price: £11.00
Donor
  • University of Missouri John Walker
  • University of Oklahoma Jia Li
Locus Stock type: individual line
Material type: seed

Phenotype
Double mutant; activation-tagging transgenic line generated in the weak bri1-5 background with construct pSKI015 via floral dipping Agrobacterium-mediated transformation technique; multiple bri1-5 phenotype defects are suppressed by brs1-1D; doble mutants have primary inflorescence stems twice as long as those with bri1-5 alone and rosettes are wider because the leaves are bigger and not curled; brs1-1D suppresses both the shortened secondary inflorescence branch length phenotype and the late flowering of bri1-5; other traits, which are unaffected in bri1-5 relative to wt plants such as flower number, coinflorescence number and branch number are not altered in doble mutant plants; BRS1 encodes a serine carboxypeptidase-like protein, which regulates BRI1 signaling.
N6139 Name: Maarten Koornneef - 10061 Price: £11.00
Donor
  • Wageningen University Maarten Koornneef
Stock type: individual line
Material type: seed

Phenotype
Reduced seed dormancy determined by the embryo; ability to germinate as freshly harvested seeds; high capacity to germinate in darkness; same sensitivity to gibberellin biosynthesis inhibitors as the wt; pale green leaf color, bushy appearance, flower buds are relatively open; backcrossed 3 times to wt.
N6148 Name: gl1-1 ino-4 Price: £11.00
Donor
  • University of California, Davis Charles Gasser
Locus Stock type: individual line
Material type: seed

Phenotype
Weak allele; ovule defective; female sterile; outer integument initiates in the correct location on the abaxial side of an ovule primordium, however, subsequent growth of the outer integument is reduced, and the outer integument fails to completely enclose the inner integument and nucellus, a protuberance appears on the adaxial side of the ovule, undergoes limited expansion and is partially covered by the reduced outer integument; no visible alterations in other aspects of ovule, flower or vegetative development; encodes a protein member of the YABBY gene family with zinc-finger and HMG-like domains; segregating for glabrous phenotype (lacks trichomes on leaves and stems). Backcrossed 3 times to wt.
N6165 Name: apetala Price: £11.00
Donor
  • University of California, Davis John Bowman
Locus Photo
photo of Arabidopsis plant
Stock type: individual line
Material type: seed

Phenotype
strong apetala. strong allele; homeotic conversion of sepals (first whorl) to bracts, secondary or tertiary flowers are formed in the axils of the transformed sepals; petals (second whorl) usually absent but are occasionally replaced by stamens or petal-stamen-bract-like mosaic; phenotype varies acropetally, with more complete flower-to-inflorescence conversions in basal flowers and at low temperature Phenotype curated by ABRC
N6167 Name: glabra, terminal flower Price: £11.00
Donor
  • University of Oregon Ry Meeks-Wagner
Locus Photo
photo of Arabidopsis plant
Stock type: individual line
Material type: seed

Phenotype
early flowering; determinate inflorescence with terminal compound floral structure consisting of 2 or 3, sometimes incomplete, flowers; more severe phenotype at higher temperatures and longer photoperiods; lacks trichomes on stems and leaves.
